Selling my beautiful vintage Heuer Daytona automatic chronograph, reference 110.203B.
The Daytona had a relatively short production run in the late 1970s and these are now quite rare. It is powered by the legendary Heuer Calibre 12, an evolution of the pioneering Chronomatic movement family behind some of the earliest automatic chronographs. It also features a micro-rotor (super cool!).
Fresh out of a full service, this watch is in fantastic vintage condition and running beautifully.
I recently made a video about this iconic piece for my YouTube channel. After some intense internal debate, I decided to list it and see whether any collectors are interested, but I am certainly not desperate to sell it.
Great cosmetic condition, with light marks on the case, bracelet and clasp in line with the watch’s age. It could probably be polished to look much newer, but I would strongly advise against polishing a collectible vintage piece like this.
The crystal was replaced during the recent service and is pristine and unmarked. The blue dial and hands look phenomenal.
Great mechanical condition (timegrapher tested across 5 positions):
Approximately -8 to +2 sec/day depending on position, 232 to 274° amplitude, and 0.0 to 0.3 ms beat error at 21,600 vph.
The Heuer Calibre 12 automatic chronograph movement is running well overall, showing good beat alignment and stable positional performance across the tested positions.
The movement underwent a full service by The Watch Spot on 30 June 2026, including cleaning, inspection, oiling, demagnetising, regulation and testing. The crystal was replaced, a new caseback gasket was fitted, and the case and bracelet were cleaned.
The service is covered by a 12-month warranty until 30 June 2027.
The chronograph starts, stops and resets correctly.

The bracelet is currently sized to fit my 6.5-inch wrist comfortably. Using the clasp micro-adjustment, it should fit approximately a 7-inch wrist, and around 7.5 inches with the bracelet extension fitted. These are approximate measurements.
As stated on the service paperwork, water resistance cannot be guaranteed on a vintage watch, so I would treat it as non-water-resistant.
