The Longines Master Collection Annual Calendar pairs a classic 40mm case with a blue sunburst dial and one of the more useful complications in the range.

The annual calendar displays both the month and date and automatically accounts for 30- and 31-day months, so it only requires manual correction once a year at the end of February.

The blue sunburst dial gives the watch plenty of depth without making it overly dressy, and the 40mm proportions keep it versatile on the wrist.

Condition

Near-mint pre-owned cosmetic condition, with only very light signs of casual wear on the case and bracelet and nothing particularly noticeable during normal wear.

Both the front sapphire crystal and the exhibition caseback crystal are pristine and unmarked.

Mechanical condition

Timegrapher tested across five positions at 25,200 vph: approximately -5 to +2 sec/day, 250° to 293° amplitude and 0.0 to 0.5 ms beat error.

The Longines Calibre L897.2 automatic annual calendar movement is running very strongly overall, with excellent beat alignment, healthy amplitude and consistent positional performance.
