Louis Vuitton Voyager GMT Day & Night 39mm Automatic | Q7D31

The Louis Vuitton Voyager GMT Day & Night is one of the more unusual neo-vintage travel watches, combining a compact 39mm case with a distinctive second-time-zone display.

The GMT is shown using a rotating blue and black day/night disc on the dial, giving an immediate AM/PM indication while adding real visual character. The silver sunburst dial changes noticeably with the light, while the integrated bracelet and compact lug shape keep the watch elegant and surprisingly wearable.

At 39mm it wears neatly on the wrist. For reference, my wrist is 6.5 inches and the proportions work very well.

Condition

Good pre-owned cosmetic condition. Light signs of wear and fine microscratches are visible on the polished case and bracelet under close inspection, as expected for a pre-owned polished steel watch. Overall it presents very nicely on the wrist.

The sapphire crystal is pristine and unmarked.

Mechanical condition

Timegrapher tested across five positions at 28,800 vph: approximately -7 to +3 sec/day, 255° to 283° amplitude and 0.2 to 0.7 ms beat error.

The automatic GMT movement is running strongly following regulation, with healthy amplitude and good positional performance.

The travel case is old and well worn and has begun to degrade around the seams.

The watch is currently sized for approximately a 6-inch wrist, with the four additional links included for sizing up.
