I'm proud to present one of the coolest-looking racing chronographs from what is probably one of the most exciting modern independent Swiss watch brands - NORQAIN.
This NORQAIN Freedom 60 Chronograph is an absolute beauty, with its domed sapphire crystal almost magnifying the already stunning reverse panda dial. The vintage racing aesthetic is complemented by the classy brown NORQAIN leather strap, but I've currently fitted a brand-new perforated black WatchGecko leather strap which I think suits it even more. Both straps are included.
The case is on the larger side at 43mm; however, thanks to the relatively short lugs I find it wears surprisingly well even on a slimmer wrist like my 6.5-inch one. It should suit slightly larger wrists particularly well.
Unlike many racing chronographs, this model also boasts a manufacturer's water-resistance rating of 100m, which is fantastic to see on an automatic chronograph. Current water resistance isn't guaranteed, and pressure testing is recommended before submerging it.

Condition
Excellent cosmetic condition. Just light signs of casual wear to the case and buckle, visible upon close inspection. The original brown NORQAIN strap has minor signs of use, while the perforated black WatchGecko strap is brand new. The domed sapphire crystal is pristine and unmarked. Overall the watch presents beautifully on the wrist.
Mechanical condition
Outstanding mechanical condition (timegrapher tested across 5 positions):
−3 to 0 s/day, 275–297° amplitude, 0.0–0.2 ms beat error @ 28,800 vph (50° lift angle).
The NORQAIN automatic chronograph movement is performing exceptionally well, with excellent positional consistency, strong amplitude and very low beat error. The chronograph works as expected and resets cleanly.
